- Some thoughts
For some reason I’m currently in a very strange mood and tend to think a lot about life, which is very unusual for me. Every day I turn on the TV I see another news report about some kids beating an elder man to death, stabbing someone in the stomach, robbing people and worse. When there are no news like this there always are the family shows showing girls which look and act like whores, have zero education and did not even turn 13 yet. To sum it up I’m wondering where this generation of kids is going. I wouldn’t want to be a parent in times like these. Even if you try your best your kid might still end up as a failure, influenced by the wack society and the media. If not, it will probably end up as one of those being beaten and stabbed.Does every generation think like this about the next generation?
If things go on like this, we need a comet to fix this mess.
- Metal Gear Solid on the PSP
Yo. I didn’t write anything in quite a time, so here is an update. Some time ago I gave in and finally also purchased a PSP. I didn’t post about it earlier since the fake memory stick that came with it broke on the first day and the PSP therefore didn’t get much use. Yesterday I got a new original Memory Stick and gave the PS1 emulator a try. And what can I say? I’m surprised! I didn’t think the PSP would run my favorite PS1 titles this smooth and clear. So far I only tried Metal Gear Solid and Castlevania and both run like the original.
The above screens were taken during my first try with Metal Gear Solid. It is so clear and crisp on the PSP screen that I will once again finish MGS tonight. I know PS1 on PSP is old news for everyone, but hey! I’m still catching up on 3 years of gaming.
- Taiko No Tatsujin in the house!
Finally the two Taiko No Tatsujin PS2 controllers arrived! Both of them are in a great shape and look pretty much new. What a great packaging too.
I tried out the drums by randomly hammering on them, and wow they are loud. I’m sure the neighbors will love it.
Now all that is missing for some drum action is a PS2!
- Gaming Until Bust
Now this was a scary experience. A few minutes ago I fainted playing my Nintendo DS. I don’t know what caused this. It might be the strong pain killers in my blood right now or simply my bad blood pressure. However this has never happened before, and I hope it never will happen again. Anyway it was worth the few seconds on the floor since I finally got a new record on Taiko No Tatsujin DS!
- Handmade Filled Chocolates
You don’t get the chance to try $45 chocolates every day. Today was my chance. I got these from a client a little while ago and I already ate three. They are made by a local confectioner who apparently already won several nation wide awards. Here are some pictures for you.
- Trolli Candicraft: Make your own candy!
Now here is something new and obscure. Made in Shanghai China for the German market, German candy giant Trolli delivers a new weird product. This one consists of eight candies and three pens in three colors, or flavors rather.
The pens are labeled wildberry, citrus and strawberry. The purpose of this is to paint the included candies.
So there you have it a. A wonderful flower for my readers.
- Full Moon
Wow, what a bright moon tonight. This is the first time in a long while I have seen it this strong, second full moon in a row. Beware of werewolves!

Ever get the feeling of owning too many USB based card readers and sticks? Well welcome to my world. I really gotta clean up all that crap one day.

- I Am Legend (2007 Version) Review
After all the hype around this movie I finally went to see it. Below you will find my thoughts about it. I’m going to spoil a lot of important parts, so stop reading now if you have not seen it yet and still plan on doing so. Otherwise go ahead and read on!
